For smaller vehicles, such as compacts and Sedans, front, back, and rear window must all allow up to 27% of natural light in. For larger vehicles, such as trucks, minivans, and SUVs, front windows must allow up to 27% of natural light in, while back and rear windows can be as dark as you like.
